Centro Cívico comuna de Pedro Aguirre Cerda
The commune of Pedro Aguirre Cerda was created from the subdivision of the municipalities of San Miguel, Santiago and La Cisterna, generating a highly housing sector, but, lacking public spaces and recreation. André Jarlan Park was created in 1992 with the aim of reversing this problem. The project was made in three stages, but only enabled one.

The proposal seeks to recover the northern sector of the park André Jarlan from the design of a Civic Center, allowing users to have aplace for have active meetings and recreational activities.
This sector has been a constant deterioration. Since the 50s, the ground functioned as a well of exploration and extraction of aggregates, with an approximate area of 32 has and a depth of 20 meters. In the early 70s, the premises were intended to remove debris, creating a landfill in the commune. This area became the landfill of “La Feria”, a place of disposal of solid waste from all Santiago.
